Wetland creation and improvement

“Jack Lawrence supported a wetland creation and improvement project on the Manhood Peninsula, in 2018 and 2019, for a wildlife project that enhanced and extended water vole habitat, increased biodiversity and also reduced local flood risk. Jack showed skill and understanding in creating large pond areas, forming different conditions for a range of wildlife. He is reliable, knowledgeable and listens. I would not hesitate to use him again”.

Creating and maintaining wetlands and water ways is vital in improving the Biodiversity in the UK. Biodiversity is important as it helps support all life on Earth, including humans. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely on to provide us with clean air and food. due to the growing population and increased housing we need to maintain and improve the biodiverse sites that we already have and utilise any space that could be created into a new site. At J L rural contractors we have worked with and continue to work with Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Charities to improve wetlands, water ways, meadows and woodlands.
